ACE Centre of Excellence : 21st Century Skills

Center of Excellence (CoE) is a unified body in an organization that works across specific domains or business units (BUs) or learning tracks within a domain and has a leading-edge knowledge and competency in that area. It is comprised of highly-skilled individuals, academicians, core professionals and domain experts, who disseminate knowledge in an organization and share best practices for benefits of its members, local communities or target beneficiaries.

Excellence means greatness — the very best. Achieving excellence is never easy to do. Excellence is a quality that people really appreciate, because it’s so hard to find. Excellence is the quality of excelling, of being truly the best at something.

The Centre of Excellence : 21st Centry Skills mission and vision is to share, support and strengthen the NextGeneration of India Youth – The GenZ with suthentic, time-tested and step-by-step transformation process so that every individual explore, experience and express his/her true potential

The creative, collaborative model of ACE CoEs is designed in a way to enhance and enable replicas and thus encourage Time Saving, Better communication. Prevention of duplicacy of efforts, improves Quality of Service, Intelligent adaptation, automation and augmentation of training through hybrid mode of working (online/offline experiential knowledge driven applications)

A Centre of Excellence (CoE) is a collaborative team of skilled knowledge workers whose mission is to provide the institution/organization/community they work for with best practices around a particular area of interest. A CoE should include representatives from ACE, Organisation management, a line of industry/business (LoB), information technology (IT) and Academic/Training domains.

ACE Centre of Excellence (ACE CoE) is a team of passionate and skilled knowledge professionals whose mission is to provide the universities / organization they work for with best practices around a particular area of interest. The concept of creating special-interest groups for thought leadership for academic, technical, professional, research oriented and industry linked Centre of Excellence is primarily aimed to transform next generation of New India – The GenZ and enable them with 21st Century Skills

ACE CoEs will be created in association with universities, industry associations, community organisation and Corporate / CSR projects when there is a clear identification and focus to fill the knowledge deficit or skills gap within that entity. For example, a company may form a new centre of excellence to manage the adoption and integration of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) under Industry 4.0 ecosystem or Happiness@Workplace for employees well-being.

An important goal of a center of excellence is to eliminate inefficiency and help move the organization to the next level of a maturity model. ACE CoE should include representatives from management, a line of business (LOB) and information technology (IT).

Depending upon the organization and area of interest, a CoE may be ongoing or temporary. When a CoE is ongoing, team members often have other job responsibilities; when the CoE is temporary, team members may be relieved of normal duties for the duration of the CoE. 

Ideally, the process of co-creation of ACE CoEs start with our Catalysts, Facilitators and Trainers doing the need analysis, initiating the Awareness process and subsequently up-skill / re-skill the core team from the organization, who are responsible for disseminating knowledge about the center’s area of interest and providing employees with support for implementing recommended best practices. In vertical industries where knowledge management is the team’s primary responsibility, a CoE may also be developed as a Competency Center or a Capability Enhancement Center.
